What is a Reiki Share?

A Reiki Share is a time when people who have learned Reiki come together and give each other Reiki treatments.  Often the treatments are given to the person receiving by more than one person at once, which is a wonderful experience.

Reiki Shares give Reiki students an opportunity to practice Reiki on each other and also, most importantly, to receive a wonderful Reiki treatment themselves.

People who have not yet learned Reiki are also welcome to come along, so that they can experience Reiki and meet other people who are already practising.  They will also, of course, receive some Reiki treatment!

My Reiki shares are also an opportunity to take advantage of the presence of an experienced Reiki master to ask questions and review the hand positions I teach. It is a good way to stay connected - or re-connect - with your Reiki practice and also give you an opportunity to receive constructive feedback as you are treating others

"Reiki share last night was great - I had a very peaceful sleep last night."

"Just to say ‘thank you’ again for yesterday – I had a really good time and it was so good to have a practice on some people rather than animals!"

We use the basic hand positions as I teach them and we normally work with hands in contact with the body.  We generally practice in silence, although I occasionally play some music.  There is time for chat, questions and sharing at the beginning and end of the session.
