Theme: A Time for Peace
Recent hard winters and economic difficulties may have left you, like so many other people, feeling depleted and far from peaceful. Peace is often something we yearn for, but often look for outside of ourselves. The Reiki camp this year offers a time to let go of the worries of recent days and months, to spend time finding your inner peace. It also offers time with others who share this desire for peace. We may spend some of our days in silence, allowing our inner voice, that will guide us towards a more peaceful life, to be heard more clearly. We will also find the peace that comes from companionship with like minded people. The thread that will flow through and connect us all is Reiki. We will give Reiki to each other and treat ourselves, finding that inner peace that is often waiting for us any time we decide to place our hands to give Reiki.
"I enjoyed it all. I was hoping for a time of retreat and found just that. There was a generous spaciousness in the way the programme worked, and with the flow of the group. There was no one hilight, but perhaps an overall appreciation of sharing Reiki within such a wonderfully supportive group."
The Venue
Oak Barn is set in the beautiful Brown Clee Hills of South Shropshire (an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty). The Centre is set in over an acre of permaculture cottage gardens and forest gardens, ten acres of meadows with miles of beautiful walks with fabulous views. Oak Barn itself is homely and welcoming and the perfect setting to come and spend some time finding peace.

Accommodation
As the name suggests you can camp - bring your own tent: there are several spaces and if you don't have your own tent there may be one you can borrow. There is also a yurt available. If you would prefer to sleep indoors there is a range of informal accommodation in the Barn itself and various other buildings around the property. These include the 'cosmic shed' - very basic but wonderful views, the garden room - also quite basic, but close to the Barn, the 'Crofters Cottage' - a renovated 17th century cottage with some facilities in adjoining buildings. All accommodation is on a first come first served basis.
"I felt the whole place was a lovely and relaxing environment. The food was wonderful, as was the selection and it seemed everyone was catered for. The Reiki sessions were lovely as were the sharing circles."

We will eat together with the option of a meal in peaceful silence so we can appreciate the food and companionship. Breakfasts will be self serve."The catering was beyond my expectation. Really good standard, even the music played during the meals was magnificent. The range of people and the quality of the sharing was inspiring."
